Nolax Hotels and Resorts.
A recreational sanctuary for restless travellers
Nolax is a hypothetical brand for hotels and resorts. Nolax was established in the late 20’s with its first headquarter in Hanoi, Vietnam. After years of dedicating its services to the customers, the brand has branched out to various locations around the world. With each of the location, Nolax attempts to deliver the finest experience to customers, while bringing out the place’s signature characteristics, such as: natural habitat, cultural experience, and so on.
Process.
I started with researching hotels’ branding strategies, projects and logos. I summarized all the information I collected and started sketching and prototyping. The first step was completed with more than 120 logo sketches. From there, I was left to choose with the 5 best logos and started digitizing them.
Black on White.
From the five logos, I decided to pick one out of them. After different rounds of critiques and consideration, the logo with the line and 3 parallelograms was chosen to be the final logo of the project. This logo represents a mixture of luxury and nature-friendliness- 2 characteristics that Nolax wants to show its audience. The line in the middle is the stylized letter N, representing luxury, while the three leaves are a symbol of rice plant- a plant in which Vietnam is famous of producing.

Social Media Campaign.
Nolax is meant to be a hotel franchise that keeps up to trend and understands its main target, hence, thrives to serve them the best it can. Digital marketing is chosen as the main advertising mediums of Nolax. This is expressed through Facebook and Instagram posts and stories.
